  1. 1 stick (1/2 c) salted real butter
  2. 1/2 c unsweetened almond milk
  3. 1 c granulated coconut sugar
  4. 1/2 c cocoa powder (I used 1/4c Black Onyx Cocoa & 1/4c Dutch Cocoa powder*)
  5. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  6. 1 pinch of coarse sea salt
  7. 1 tsp cinnamon
  8. 1/2 c nut butter of choice
  9. 3 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  1. In a medium sauce pan, heat butter, milk, sugar and cocoa over medium heat, stirring continuously. Bring to a boil. Once boiling-allow to boil for 1 1/2 minutes* continually stirring. Remove from the heat. Add vanilla, nut butter and oats. Blend well. Line a glass baking dish with parchment paper and spread bar mixture into prepared dish. Let set in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes. Cut and enjoy!
  1. *make sure to set a timer for the 1 1/2 minutes of boiling time. Too much or too little time may result in the bars not setting
  2. * Savory Spices @ SOCO or online
  3. Once mine are cut I like to store them in an airtight container in the fridge.
